Description:
Ten Ren’s 2nd Grade Pi Lo Chun produces a tea that has a light yellow-green hue. It has a strong fresh taste with a lasting fresh and pure aftertaste. The aroma is strong with a faint baked smell and the scent of freshly cut grass. This grade tends to use tea leaves which are slightly older than the other grades.
Tea Making Instruction:
The water used to steep this tea should be about 175-195°F or 80-90°C. Use about 1 tablespoon (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 ml) of water. A steeping time of about 2-3 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on desired concentration.
