White Tea is also known as Silver Needles. White Tea is grown in the high mountains of Fujian province. Similar to Green tea, White teas undergo very little processing. White tea is lighter in body than greens and has a naturally sweet taste. The reason for the name, Silver Needles, is quite apparent with one glance at the buds. The prominence of the delicate white hairs on the buds is quite striking. Its taste is delicate with a clean mellow sweetness.
