Oolong is a type of tea that falls halfway between green and black tea. Its fermentation between 10% to 80% and it takes the better characteristics of Green Tea (unfermented) and Black tea (100% fermented). Its shorter fermentation time compared with black tea helps give it a rich flavor. The aroma is strong which is the most pleasant. It leaves a mellow and long lasting aftertaste.

The soil, climate, altitude, harvest season and manufacturing expertise determine the quality and taste of the Oolong Tea. Top quality oolong is grown and harvested from the mountains of Tong Ding, which is located in the central part of Taiwan. Most of the days this mountain is covered with mist and the climate are perfect for tea farming, which make it one of the best areas to harvest during the premium seasons, spring and winter.
